I remember the days when the kids would yell at me, “Dad! leave me
\nalone I can do it myself!” We, I guess it’s just I now,
\nhave raised the girls to be in some ways strong and independent.
\nTo have confidence that they can do things on their own. I think
\nthat is a good attribute to have in one’s personality. But there
\nare times recently when I have found that it’s not physically possible
\nfor me to work full time and “do it myself!”.<\/p>\n

\nabout not asking for “stuff”. I am suffering from the same
\naffliction. There is a sense that I should be able to take care
\nof myself and my family. I shouldn’t have to ask others for
\nhelp. I’m not sure I can make it myself, but I’m going to give it
\nmy best. School has started again and we have this week covered
\nas far as getting to from school and me getting Lindsey to the
\nrink. Beyond that I’m not sure how right now how I’m going to do
\nit. I will ask for help and have asked for help, and
\ninterestingly have people asking me for help. It somehow feels
\nlike I’m healing and getting back to normal when there are people out
\nthere having a harder time than I am. But it will be a real
\nchallenge for me to still work enough hours to keep my job and still be
