It’s begining to get windy. The outer bands of Frances are moving
\nthrough. We get strong gusts and then some consistent winds.<\/p>\n
My folks are over in Polk and the eye of the storm is making it’s way
\npast them right now. I will give them a call in a few minutes
\nonce the heavy stuff moves past them. Cindy’s brother and his
\nfamily are over in Port St. Lucie which is pretty much where the storm
\nmade landfall. Haven’t heard from them since yesterday
\nmorning. Will try to get an update today.<\/p>\n
They have closed the Skyway Bridge has been closed, and the waves are
\nstarting to break over some of the other bridges. They may close
\nthe bridges over the bay soon.<\/p>\n
Took Lindsey down the street and there are lots of leaves and small
\nbranches everywhere. No trees down yet but the neighbors were out
\nwaiting for one of the really tall pines in back of one of the houses
\nto snap off.<\/p>\n
Watching the radar loops it looks like it is moving towards the west
\nand north. The further north it moves might mean less of the
\nstrong winds on the north and east part of the storm would miss us.<\/p>\n
