Something that you may<br \/>\nhave felt thousands of times over the years (365 mornings x 23<br \/>\nyears).  Is this the same phantom feelings that those who have<br \/>\nlost a limb feel?  The feeling that someone is there, or should be<br \/>\nthere next to you, but you know that they aren&#8217;t.  Hence the<br \/>\nknowledge that you are alone but somehow you can still feel someone<br \/>\nthere.  Alone but not.<\/p>\n<p>A little while back I was quoting the lyrics of a Mary Chapin Carpenter song about being <a href=\"http:\/\/radio.weblogs.com\/0100146\/2004\/11\/15.html#a716\">Alone But Not Lonely<\/a>.  I think that this feeling of alone but not, can work to magnify the feelings of loneliness.&nbsp;  Leaving you both <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hindu.com\/thehindu\/edu\/2001\/11\/27\/stories\/2001112700260205.htm\">Alone<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reflectionsofsouthbreeze.com\/Pages\/AloneAndLonely.htm\">Lonely<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Halley talks about being Alone But Not.
