Chelsey and I were up most of the night Monday night. Chelsey is
\nsick, sniffling, sneezing, stuffy head etc. I had to go pick her up
\nMonday after she finished her FCAT testing. She came home and fell
\nasleep. She slept for a few hours. Then when bed time came along she
\ncouldn’t sleep. A combination of cold medicine, afternoon nap, and
\nanxiety about more FCAT testing the next day prevented her from sleeping.
\nShe would come into my room ever hour or so saying she can’t get to
\nsleep.<\/p>\n
Finally around 1:30 am I went to her room and did the only thing I
\ncould think to do, I sat by her bed quietly and waited for her to go
\nto sleep. As I sat there quietly not sleeping, I remembered all those
\ntimes when the girls were babies and I would sit on the floor next to
\nthe crib waiting for them to go to sleep. Listening to them cry
\nthemselves to sleep was just too painful.<\/p>\n
So here is sit today in that wonderful half conscious state of the new
