We made it to Alpharetta and I’m on my second glass of wine, or I would
be if my little brother would get up and get it for me 🙂  It’s
crisp and cool this far up north.  That worked, more wine is
coming.

If this wasn’t Florida we would be having a total white out Blizzard this morning.  The air is thick with moisture.  It’s not raining, it’s not drizzling, the air is just totally saturated.  It feels like walking around in the old vaporizer we had when we were kids and got sick.  The fall weather can be so depressing, it was cloudy yesterday and it looks like it may be cloudy today too!  I can barely stand it.

Key Lime Pie is good.  Maybe a cool slice of pie after a big plate of Stone Crabs at Frenchy’s on the beach, watching the sun go down.

Are you ready for some Football?  How about some Monday Night Music instead.

The question is How Did People Used To Meet Anyway? She list the way she met some of her early boyfriends.  As I look at my potential opportunities for meeting a future girlfriend I see,

Work.
Grocery store.
Concerts with my young teen daughter and her friends.
Ice Rink.
Driving to-from work.
Working in the front yard (it’s getting to be time to start raking leaves).

Most of my”social” experiences are with the many married couples that Cindy and I used to socialize with.  I was anxious to “find” someone for a while, but now I’m accepting that the likelihood of meeting that special someone at the places I frequent is sort of low.  I’ve had better luck with the online matching services.  There I have at least struck up some email conversations.  I think that until I can create more time for myself, I will be content “going out” with my girls.

I’m trying out the Frequency application for posting to my weblog.  It looks pretty nice.  I’m testing something to see how it behaves. It apears to behave rather nicely so far.

Today was the big day.  Lindsey played on stage in the band Samurai Cafe for the first time.  They sounded great.  I don’t know that I was any less nervous than I am for skating competitions.  I had a great time out in the park on a most beautiful day.  With good sounds and good friends.  I was able to coax a few more photos from the digital.

No big saturday night lie here.  The little one is off to a birthday party, and my rock band guitarist is across the street at her friends house.  Here I am with my glass of wine getting read to build a page of photos from todays activities so all the folks back  home can see what we are up to.

The Samurai Cafe just finished and they sounded pretty good. 
Lindsey even sang on one song.  I was able to take a few pictures
with the ailing digital so watch for some photos later.
