Friday night was the Clearwater Night Parade. This year Chelsey’s Jr. Girls Scout troop was in the parade, as was one of Lindsey’s friends dance troop, as well as one of the skating clubs. It rained all morning but by the time of the parade it had cleared up and is was a beautiful night for a parade. I’ve posted a few photos:

Saturday night I went to the hockey game with some of the “boys”. The Lightning won, beating the Islanders, who looked like skating pumpkins in their new orange and black jerseys. We stopped after the game at one of the local pubs and I had a little too much. I wonder why drinking can’t be more like eating. Once you’ve had enough to eat you get full, but with drinking once you’ve had enough, you just want more :O

I was a little fuzzy today, but was able to get some more holiday shopping done.

Mary posted an item (with her eyes closed I’ll bet 🙂 about Ice Skates for Christmas.

We just got Lindsey’s new skates the other day. Her coach is preparing them for us, waterproofing, mounting the blades, etc. They need to be sharpened before she can do anything with them. Time for some fresh blister pads too. We got a pair of SP Teri – Super Teri CL’s, with John Wilson Gold Seal blades. We got them at the local shop so we probably paid more than if we bought them online, but it’s nice to have a shop to go to so I don’t mind letting them have our business. Plus they were very nice and did give us a discount off the regular prices. She just opened a littl online store to at http://www.TheSkateGallery.com

The Holiday Skating show is Tomorrow Saturday the 7th at the TBSA rink in Oldsmar. There is a show at 3:00 and another at 7:00. Tickets are $5.00 and will be available at the door. If you need tickets call me as we still have a few.

It looks like somebody mowed the lawn while we were in Atlanta. To the mystery landscape elves, THANKS! Now if I could just figure out how to get them to come back each week 🙂 Oh, you say I just need to look up Lawn Services in the Yellow Pages.

Chelsey was home sick yesterday (and today). She has a fever and the sniffles. I stayed home yesterday and between card games with Chelsey was able to resurect my PC. It turned out the hard disk was fine, it just needed a new motherboard.

We went out Sunday night after we got home from Atlanta and got our Christmas tree. Chelsey and I got down all the decorations and got started with the tree. It’s going to take me a while to get all the decorations put up. This is the job Cindy always did so well. I’m still looking for the tree skirt in the dozens of boxes of decorations.

We’re Baack! We had a great time in Atlanta. It was really nice to see all the family, eat some great food, and even get in some golf! Now it’s back to laundry and lunches 🙂

While in Atlanta I had the opportunity to play golf with my brothers. Larry is a member at the Crooked Creek club and the course was in magnificent condition for a November day in Atlanta with overnight temps in the 20’s. Our day was sunny and crisp to start and warmed up nicely after the first few holes.

It is cold to me but brisk and beautiful to the folks from Chicago.
