Liz is now a digital photographer maniac. She is just going wild taking digital photos. Here is one she took of Chelsey getting ready for morning patrols on the first day of school.

Today is the first day of school. Lunches were made, school supplies all packed up and everyone ready to go.

It was a short summer. They had to change the school year so the kids would have more time to prepare for the FCAT.

Chelsey does morning patrols, where they help with the drop off car line, so she has already gone. I get to take Lindsey to school this morning. I’m looking forward to that.

A Picture Named School

Tomorrow is the first day of school. Need to remember to put notes on the napkins, take pictures of the girls, should have bought cards (guess I’ll have to make some quick). I get to drive Lindsey to school tomorrow.

I’ve been reading about the troubles people are having trying to get the MyPictures tool to work. I’ve been using it for a while now and haven’t had any problems at all.

I am switching to a new method for creating my image galleries and I wrote up a picturegallery.html”>picture gallery of all the images on my site, well almost all. There is something hosed in one set of images where the links are messed up. I’ll try to take a look and see what’s up with that.

I found this link on the Net-Happenings mailing list. I’ve always been fascinated by photography and especially unique ways of seeing things.

We had a great competition. The rink did a great job running the show, everything seemed to go very smoothly. This was Lindsey’s first United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) competition. I think we were a little nervous because we’ve never competed one before. She skated well, fell once, but got up and finished everything perfectly. And she placed second!

We had some relaxing fun the past few days. Cindy’s brother Bill and his wife Dee were visiting and the girls really enjoyed spending time with their cousins, and aunts and uncles. Dinner was at Crabby Bill’s last night and today we went over to Aunt Diane and Uncle Scott’s. And of course there are pictures!
