I was collecting some music…
I was collecting some music to listen to that would remind me of Cindy. Cindy and I met in 1979 and I remember listening to Christopher Cross’ “Sailing”. I still have that album, on old analog vinyl so I put it on the mix I was making along with some old Karla Bonoff and some others. I’m sure I’ve forgotten a lot of the music we listened to or was playing on the radio at that time.
So I thought I’d go look at the old Billboard Charts for 1979 to see what was playing back then. So far I’m not able to find that information. I did find books for sale that list the Billboard 100 for each decade but I’m not sure it’s worth that much for me to find that info. I just thought it would be fun to see what music was playing back then.
If anybody knows how to find that info without having to spend $80 that would be really nice. Another good example of the ClueTrain in action (or not). Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t want to pay it’s just that I’d like to buy a month or two in 1979 and 1980 and perhaps for a few dollars not $80.

Some how I need to…
Some how I need to keep track of all the sites that try to keep track of all the documentation for Radio/Frontier.
This should probably be a story.
Oops! Guess what, I already did that and it’s here!

There was another article in…
There was another article in the paper this morning. This article reports on the results of Mr. Hemple’s traffic court appearance. The judge seemed to feel that Mr. Hemple didn’t care as much about what happened to us, as he did about himself. It doesn’t seem like much of a punishment but I think the judge gave him the maximum penalties he could.
The St. Pete Times reporter, Chris Tisch, (who thankfully got the paper to print a different photograph of Cindy!) has been following our story and been very supportive, like so many others, including the witnesses who were in the court room to testify. Each of the witnesses came by to give me hugs and offers to help in any way they could.
In case I haven’t already said this to you directly, Thank You, to everyone that has been thinking about us and helping us during this difficult time. I appreciate all your support and it helps us more than you can imagine. Just knowing that there are so many wonderful and caring people out there that are thinking about us helps me to realize that there is good in this world.

It been a busy week…
It been a busy week and I’m trying to take it easy this beautiful Sunday morning. I plan on sending out an update later today, that is if I don’t spend the whole day setting up a frog vivarium. We plan on going to PetsMart today and perhaps pick up all the stuff we need.

Today we went through the…
Today we went through the closet and dresser and found new homes for Cindy’s clothes. I was glad to see that Cindy’s friends took some of her clothes. It was nice to see her clothes again and remember how she looked in them. We saved some items to be used to make a remembrance quilt as soon as Sheryl and I get some free time.
Oh, and we went through the cabinets and makeup too. It looks like somebody got a little carried away trying out the makeup 🙂

Doc links [1] to a…
Doc links to a newly found friend of mine Bernie. Bernie and I have been working on a collaborative project (me) lately and it has been very helpful to me in my recovery. Being the techno geek that I am, we have been meeting virtually using online collaboration tools, as well as the plain old telephone.
Bernie asked me to describe this process and I called it:
“grief counseling, psychological therapy, attitude alteration or adjustment, emotional re-training, life re-funifying, happiness finding, something or other thingy”
For me it is basically a online collaborative healing process.
