I have been having a re-occurring dream recently. It is the one where for a reason that isn’t apparent to me in the dream Cindy has left me and doesn’t want to have anything to do with me. To the point of not even speaking to me. It is hard to describe the emotions of loss and abandonment that I feel when I wake from these dreams. There is the strange feeling of wonder at having seen Cindy and at the same time the despair and heartbreak of not being able to even talk to her.

Luckily it’s like the lyrics from the All Time Low song “Stay Awake”

“Dedication takes a lifetime
But dreams only last for a night”

It’s time for some new dreams.

I had a nice birthday. Spent most of the day With Lindsey and friends at a competition, followed by some lunch, and a little shopping. I picked up a few little things for myself.

First Day of School 2007

On the first day of school my job was to take a photo of the girls for Cindy. She wanted to make an album of some sort with the first day of school pictures for every year of school. Lindsey is a Senior this year and will be “off” to college next year. So I am starting to wonder if this will be one of the last First Day of School pictures I will take of her.
