Boy I really love reading Halley’s stuff.

Chelsey played beautifully at the music school’s most recent recital.

Today we participated in the Walk for PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease).  A close friend has this disease and is waiting for  Kidney Transplant.  It was a nice morning for a walk along the Pinellas Trail which has some beautiful plants along the way.

There are a couple of shots from Thursday’s skating sessions.  The girls and I were at the Dentists and I got to watch them skate afterwards.

I was watching T.V. the other day and one of the new GAP commercials
came on. They have these amazingly beautiful models wearing the
new line of pants riding a bicycle, walking a dog, walking in the rain,
all to the music of the Earth, Wind & Fire song “September”.
For some reason the expressions on the faces of the models and the memories of that music took me
back to a time when I was young and I experienced the sheer joy of
being alive. The sun on my face, the wind in my hair, walking
down the street without a care in the world.

I could almost feel that feeling watching those images. Or maybe it was just the wine I had that evening 🙂

I get a glimpse of that when I listen to my youngest and her friends get into laughing fits.

I long to feel those feelings again.

I finally found a place to get Maytag Blue Cheese locally.  The local Kash n’ Karry grocery store had some.  Now I need to find some good recipies.

A quiet birthday. A friend at work took me out to lunch.  Thanks.

We have been “discovering” some of the area High Schools as we get ready for the county School Choice program, which some have nicknamed the school chance program.

One of those amazing Florida Flat Cows.

Went to a great birthday party for a good friend who just turned 40.  A good time was had by all, especially the birthday boy.  I think he may have gotten a little toasted 🙂
